Based at the four‑star Avisford Park Hotel near Arundel — the perfect setting for an early‑season escape into the South Downs, and even if you live in the area, we may have found lanes and hamlets you might not be aware of.

Your Stay
Arrive on Sunday 18th April, perhaps after visiting some of the Chichester/Arundel areas highlights for relaxed evening including dinner at the hotel.  
On Monday 19th April, enjoy group breakfast before heading out on our scenic South Downs Run.

The South Downs Run
Our early‑season route winds through quiet countryside lanes, opening up into the rolling landscapes of the South Downs with Petworth on the route.

A welcoming coffee stop is included at Jody Kidd Half Moomn Pub at Kirdford, and guests may also enjoy an optional visit to the charming Weald & Downland Living Museum (home of TV Repair Shop) on route via Petworth— a favourite for those who appreciate local history and heritage.

Along the way, we’ll run a Photo Location Competition, with a winner’s engraver trophy.

Cost: £250 per person, based on two guests sharing one room.
